Personal Work

Artist statement

I illustrate psychological scars using terror as a metaphor for the fear of human introspection after abuse and trauma. I am concerned about the lack of conversation, empathy, and critical thinking about these issues that we are so silent about. Creating helps me to think of the mind of the living being as a consciousness with needs beyond the individual; after all, we are not born alone. Condemned and unable to run away from ourselves, my purpose is to unleash conversations or introspections through the use of digital art, traditional art, writing, poetry, and the union of all into mixed works.Art for me is the scream they cannot silence; it's a weapon to life as a symptom, something no one can take away from anyone.
